Next to purpose, the goals of a team is what keeps an organization moving forward. The purpose and goals of a team build a bond between team members that goes beyond the individuals of the team. In order for a team to be productive they must set S.M.A.R.T. goals. S.M.A.R.T. is an acronym that George T. Doran coined.

The R stands for Relevant
The T stands for Time bound
